Should I continue weight training if my muscles are stiff and swollen?

I recently started weight training. After the first day i was ok, just a bit sore. On the second day the muscles in both my arms became stiff and now my left arm is a bit swollen. What should I do?

Rest the muscles are rebuilding themselves
Workout lightly tomorrow to get blood flowing into the muscles & help the rebuilding process.

Dont worry as your body adapts to training it will get easier and less stiffness.
